Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSH Act)

The OSH Act is the national law that sets health and safety rules for US workplaces, including Amazon.

Under this law, Amazon is required to maintain healthy and safe workplaces free from safety hazards. Workers like us have the right to file a complaint with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and request an investigation by OSHA of one or more health or safety hazards at your workplace.

Amazon is required to maintain records of work-related illnesses and injuries. Workers have the right to request a copy of their employer’s injury records and to file a complaint with OSHA if their employer is not accurately recording and reporting all workplace illnesses and injuries.

In most states, the federal government is responsible for administering the OSH Act, but some states operate their own safety and health programs. To learn more, check out these links:
